How to Fish Game Map: All Islands in Order

The How to Fish map has five main locations in progression order: Lighthouse → Forest → Desert → Rocks → Volcano. A boss kill alone is often not enough; collect its named quest item and complete the hand-in before expecting the next radar marker. ^[01]

Lighthouse to Forest

Complete the opening Beer task, convert the resulting Empty Beer Can into boss bait, and defeat Spider Crab. Search the remains for the distinctive quest drop, return it, and collect the Boat Keys. Forest to Desert

Collect all three leeches, exchange them for Modified Leech, summon Giant Piranha, and return the Giant Piranha Skeleton. If the Yellow marker does not appear, check the forest quest giver again. The leech location route prevents the most common 2/3 stall. ^[01]

Desert to Rocks

Give the Tourist a normal catch whose information panel says Endangered Species. Use the Carrot reward to summon Pufferfish, then return the small trophy or tail. The 3rd island walkthrough covers both Desert task lines. ^[01]

Rocks to Volcano

Finish the Rocks quest chain and Albatross encounter, preserve the required quest result, and complete the hand-in. The Pink marker should then identify the final route. Prepare the boat and supplies before leaving because the Volcano chain contains the final encounters. ^[01]

If the next marker is missing

1. Open the active task and read its exact item name.
2. Check the boss remains and nearby ground for a dropped trophy.
3. Return to the quest giver who supplied the special bait.
4. Confirm the reward or coordinates were collected.
5. Re-enter the boat and reopen the Radar.
6. If the state still fails, restart the session without progression mods and load the last clean save. ^[01]
