How to Find an Endangered Creature

Catch creatures on the third island and inspect each one until the information panel explicitly says Endangered Species. Keep that creature whole and give it to the Tourist; the Carrot reward confirms you found the right one. ^[01]

What counts

The status label is the rule. A particular species name, unusual color, high value, or Drip variant is not proof by itself. Different catches may qualify, so inspect the individual in your session instead of copying a species list. You do not need a special endangered bait. ^[01]

Once you see the label, do not sell, eat, or cook the catch. Deliver it directly to the Tourist. Save the Carrot: it is the trigger for the Pufferfish encounter, not ordinary food. ^[01]

If the Tourist will not accept it

Check that you spoke to the Tourist first, inspected the catch, saw the exact status, and kept the creature intact. Community species examples are useful leads but remain Reported because the official store does not publish a qualifying-species table. ^{[01] [02]}
